You will be institutional in helping to maintain PNC’s reputation for technology excellence in both business applications and new innovations. PNC is seeking a resource to engineer and support PNC’s virtualized desktop platform. This individual will focus on the development, testing and certification of solutions that will better enable PNC’s VDI environment. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: · Have extensive experience engineering Thin Client solutions for use with VDI. Experience with VLX, Wyse and HP thin clients as well as the associated management systems (e.g. Wyse Device Manager and Fusion UDM) is required. · Extensive experience with thin clients and VDI using Skype, Lync with softphone and full video. · Have experience engineering solutions for Microsoft Windows client operating systems virtualized on VMware. Would include a proven background in taking a new product implementation from conception through to implementation. Other Skills/Abilities: · Proven experience in developing and executing on the product/project lifecycle including selection, design, test, certify, implement, support and optimize. · Strong background in many desktop technologies working for large, complex organizations. Includes Windows Group Policy, Powershell, etc. · Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills · Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work independently.
