Direct the key software upgrade projects, software administration and assist state staff in supporting daily production and performance issues as well. Efficient in proactive system performance management and efficiently identify the performance issue root cause. Work on the production tax project with high performance system demands and high priority deadlines. · Skills Required Oracle & MS-SQL DBA skill sets in accordance to SAP Basis Administration. SAP performance tuning. Excellent skills with BRTOOLS & other OS level tools to manage DB/SAP systems. Develop project plans for upgrades, enhancements and new software installations. Consult with project manager working on new SAP application implementations for technical architecture designs. Provide support during software release implementations as needed. Mentor and train state staff on SAP basis administration best practices. Work with quality assurance team for testing cycle support. · Skills Preferred Diagnosing and Correcting errors and faults in SAP application systems from the Basis Perspective of the SAP system administration. Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing SAP/DB systems and suggesting the right software Updates/Patches or Version Upgrades. · Experience Required Experience with SAP ECC (FI and HCM), BW, Business Objects, SolMan. Experience in ECC / EHP / SAP NetWeaver Version Upgrade Projects. Along with Unicode conversion projects. SAP System installation. SAP System Copy/Hardwar Migration on NetWeaver/ ECC/ BW. Database Refresh – Oracle / MS SQL. SAP Support pack/stack – downloads/upgrades via spam/saint, SDM/JSPM, SUM tool. SAP Performance Tuning of NetWeaver (all versions) based systems. SAPRouter Installation, Basic Configuration, Management. Experience with full lifecycle Implementation SAP ECC, CRM, SAP NetWeaver based components. SAP System Copy/Hardwar Migration, SAP System Refresh · Experience Preferred Writing, updating and maintaining end user documentation and operational procedures. Experience working with SAP Global /Support Teams and also with the Customers/ End users of the SAP systems. procedures and processes as laid out by ITIL strategy. Migration of the DEV, QA and PRD environments on new hardware/OS. Administration of OS – Win Server, UNIX, AIX, Solaris as well as Linux, in context of SAP Administration. SAP NetWeaver Component based Upgrades/ SPs upgrades/DB refreshes · Education Required This position prefers a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. · Education Preferred Knowledge of procedures and processes of COBIT and ITIL.
