Role:  Sr. QA Lead

Duration: 6 month

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Local Prefered)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Leads the design and development of test strategies, test approach, plans
and test cases while creating standard templates for use in future projects

*Responsible for assigned test activities, such as writing test
cases/scripts

*Coordinates test activities and take ownership to manage testing

*Creates test status reports of progress, defects, and other testing
metrics as requested to monitor, measure, control and report on progress
and instill confidence about work being done

*Creates and/or identifies the tools for test reporting, test management,
test automation, etc., and educates the team as required to use the tools.
Plans knowledge transfer sessions to team members.

*Effectively communicates test status on a periodic basis, and holds
periodic test status meetings to monitor progress, escalate issues, confirm
expectations, and ensure all team members are aware of what fellow team
members effort are doing

*Identifies risks and escalates issues in a timely manner, and provides
mitigation plans in case there are any unforeseen delays

*Ensures team is following testing standards, guidelines, and testing
methodology as documented in the Test Approach

*Participates in testing reviews, and provides required support and
clarifications as needed for reviewers

*Maintains testing artifacts with requirements traceability - Uniquely
identifies all business requirements and test cases to be able to trace
back from test cases to design and to business requirements meeting the
stated business needs

*Manages project and product lifecycle change using validation techniques
throughout the lifecycle and maintaining the integrity of the requirements
document to ensure it is always up-to-date

*Provides leadership to and act as a liaison between business and IT
Stakeholders

*Understands organizational policies and regulations (including SOX and
Risk)

*Completes assigned project activities utilizing available tools and
adhering to processes as required by the SDLC and Project Management
Methodology

*Assists with other business analyst tasks as needed



JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*Bachelor's degree required with 5 - 10 years of experience in business
systems analysis with a minimum of 2 years testing experience.

*Experience with Derivatives - e.g. forwards, futures, options, and swaps -
required

*Proven ability to interact effectively with business and IT stakeholders,
to coordinate and facilitate meetings, to utilize planning/organization
skills, proven use of elicitation techniques, proven ability to effectively
document clear, accurate and measurable business requirements, and the
ability to communicate effectively and to validate and coordinate change.
