Minimum 8 years of experience in designing Data models, database for mid to large BI projects. Must have minimum 5 years of experience working with Oracle and Teradata databases. Must have minimum 5 years of experience in database, query tuning. Must have minimum 5 years of ETL (ab initio) experience, including performance tuning. Must have experience working with dimensional modeling, aggregate tables, transactional source systems. Should be strong in Database and Data Warehouse Concepts. Effective participant of requirements gathering, requirement analysis required. Quick problem solver, attention to details required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment effectively with minimum supervision, Should be Proficient with on time delivery. Good communication skills in order to convey designs/issues/solutions to the client and also the ability to estimate work and convey risks, issues in a timely manner. Proactively contribute to add value to the project. Airline domain knowledge is a plus. Responsibilities / Tasks to be performed:- Work with business analyst, business partners and technical teams to understand requirements, source system. Creation Data Models (Dimensional Model) for target system which are suitable for BI project and business requirements. Working with DB design, creating tables. Creation of source to Target mapping documents. Creating ETL Mappings using Ab Initio, loading data. Writing Database SQL scripts . work on performance tuning both DB and ETL. Creation Unit, integration and User test cases. Creation of documentstion both functional and technical.
