This applicant must be highly motivated to meet project deadlines and technology challenges. The Norfolk Southern Information Technology Department is searching for a qualified candidate to join a dynamic project team working to enhance the functionality of NS transportation systems. This position provides the opportunity for the individual to be involved with the integration of a locomotive based computer system as well as the back office systems into a vendor provided Asset Management Package. Candidate will interface primarily with team lead as well as the business area to design and develop integrations to support the NS system and asset management systems. Interactions with external vendors may also be required.
