preferably in Cloudera Ecosystem
• 2+ years of experience in data modeling, relational and dimensional
• 5 years of experience in multiple relational database systems (SQL
Server, Oracle, DB2)
• Experience with high volume systems
• Programming skills : Java -5 years, Scala/Python – 2 years, Impala – 2
years, Hive-2 years
• Working experience in data architecture and modeling using industry best
practices
• Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Strong initiative, ability to self-manage, and also work in a team
environment
Top 5 Required Technical Skills:
 5 years of Java programming .
2 years of Scala/Python .
2 years of Impala .
2 years of Hive .
2 years of Hadoop ecosystem, - prefrebaly Coudera
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Hadoop ecosystem: cloudera
• Experience in Mapreduce, Hive, Impala
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter
• Experience in Unix (AIX) shell scripting

Description:
Responsibilities:
1. Conform to the capabilities in the reference architecture
2. Allow for data access using defined business driven sharing constraints
3. Data Architect – assist EDMS team managers for architectural solution,
direction and best practices internally (EDMS) and externally (business and
project team)
4. Allow for data access using defined business driven sharing constraints
5. Incorporate new and existing technology platforms with defined use (e.g.
NoSQL, content management)
6. Rationalize solution and costs of new data assets integration
7. Incorporate modeling standards to represent the data (metadata) and
drive search
8. Provide search capabilities to understand a full picture of business
terms and source of that data
9. Ability to request access to data including the workflow necessary (data
marketplace)
10. Ability to understand the interfaces that can provide that functionality
11. Provide sandbox functionality to users of the datasets to build models
for analysis in a secure way
