1 BA FOR EACH LOCATION *Business Analyst (2)* *Location: Jersey City, NJ and Omaha , NE* *Length: 12+ months * *Start: ASAP* *Interview: phone* *US CITIZEN, GREEN CARD, GC EAD , ONLY* Job Description · Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. · Elicit requirements using a variety of methods including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. · Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts · Synthesize information from multiple sources into informational documents and diagrams defining business and functional requirements including definitions of process and system functionality, data validation and calculation logic, non-functional requirements, etc. · Decompose high-level information into details as well as abstract low-level information to a general understanding as needed. · Document and understand the flow of data, and how it affects technical interfaces, applications, and business processes. · Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish a technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between alternatives. · Drive and challenge business units and technology areas on their assumptions. · Act as primary point of contact for the project team during development to clarify business requirements, and resolve issues Candidate Requirements · Bachelor’s degree, plus 6 years relevant work experience · Experience with mapping data flows and derivations across disparate systems · Self-motivated and organized. Able to work independently · Superior analytical, problem definition and problem-solving skills · Excellent facilitation skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
