-Tools Development Team within PATI is developing tools for asset management, enterprise catalogue data management system based on GIS and customizing commercial tools for internal use.
-This candidate will work on various tools projects such as internal production tools, reports applications development in Java/C++/scripting languages. -The candidate will participate in all stages of software development including gathering requirements, software design, coding, testing, release, maintenance, and support. The candidate will also work collaboratively with other internal teams to ensure cross-functional goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Assume the team member roles of the best Scrum practices
- Internal customer requirements definition and analysis
- Develop maintain tools/solutions to meet the requirements
- Unit testing of developed code/reports perform code review
- Investigation and root cause analysis of defects or urgent support requests for existing tools
- Deploy the development artifacts to a staging area for release to development testing/integration test,production
Requirements
- Undergraduate/graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years professional development experience with Java and C++
- 5+ years professional development experience with Swing/Spring/Hibernate
- 5+ years professional development experience with SQL/SOAP/RESTful Service
- 3+ years of development experience with following technologies: ActiveMQ, Aspera, Tomcat, Shell, AJAX
- Strong working experience with image processing.
- Strong working experience with Amazon Web Service/Cloud computing (EC2, ELB, S3, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, Splunk)
- Strong working experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL and, Mongo DB
- Strong knowledge with Linux server Windows server
- Working experience with Scrum methodologies
- Working experience with Maven, Mercurial and SVN
- Working Experience with Web security/authentication/SSL is plus
- Working Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Fisheye, Crucible, Continuous Integration/delivery tool is plus
- Ability to multitask is a must, as efforts will be focused on numerous initiatives and tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
