| Duties & Responsibilites : | Local Candidate Only:
-This person should have a collaborative work ethic, creative thinking and an ability to work in a fast pace, ever changing environment.
-They should be flexible yet proactive.
-They should have the skill set to forge ahead through Beta testing issues and work with various Business Units resolve identified issues.
-This person should be a leader in the technology field and proactively obtain information about products/features on the Cisco UC & Video roadmap. Currently, this person will have strong daily exposure Cisco UC & Video product experience.
-Customer support
Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience as an Engineer supporting Video Products especially Cisco Products (including acquired products from Tandberg).
• 5+ years’ experience of Cisco Voice and Video (Including acquired Tandberg)
• Ability to deploy/maintain Cisco Video products like TMS, VCSC/E, TP Conductor, Codian/8710
• Experience on Video Endpoints (TC Series Firmware, Personal and Room TelePresence)
• Good network experience (Layer 2 & Layer 3)
• Install, Configure and Validate the components of Cisco Video Solutions
• QA Experience with Manual and Automation tools.
• Cisco/Tandberg Training and Certifications desired
• Any other Voice and Video Certification desired
• Experience with Cisco UCM, Gateways etc., desired
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong executive presence and ability to interact with CxO level
• Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications
• Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required
• Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the teams
• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
• Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
• MUST be willing to travel extensively, up to 100%
• College degree in a related area of study, with advanced degree highly preferred
• A strong track record of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena
