Duties & Responsibilites :

Client is looking a Network Operations Technician to provide advanced technical support Client's CARE Organization in order to analyze and resolve complex technical issues reported by client subscribers. This position requires a strong understanding of the data services supported by client and hands-on experience with the troubleshooting tools used to investigate and resolve these issues.

- Working with Care trouble tickets and Data Services Engineering Teams to locate, repair or escalate complex network issues on a wide array of platforms in the network.
- Phone contact with customers to resolve subscriber issues.
- Update Care call flows as needed

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
- 2+ Network Operations Technician experience
- Experience with the fundamentals of a digital carrier facility
- Familiarity with Remedy, NetExpert, VTAG, and EBTA.
- Military experience and/or a BA in telecommunications or technology
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of UNIX
- The flexibility to work alternating shifts and weekends
- Outstanding communication skills
- A knack for grace under pressure
- Experience working in Ericsson GSM equipment

Preferred skills:
-Basic understanding of services T-Mobile provides to its subscribers, such as voice mail, short message, multi-media messaging, e-mail, including knowledge of network elements (BSC, RNC, SGSN, etc) used to provide these services.
- 3+ years telecom or IT industry experience in a hands-on technical role.
- Good skills in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Good communications skills
