SAP Technical Analyst PositionDescription:
-This position is a SAP Technical Analyst within IT SAP Global Basis Technical and Basis team reporting to SAP Technical SD and Logistics Supervisor.
-The responsibilities of this position include supporting Sales Distribution (SD) and Logistics functionality in SAP.
-This includes supporting custom and SAP Delivered software.
-This analyst will also work closely with other IT teams such as Web Developers and Middleware to deliver solutions.
-Provide computer application programming support for the one or more of the following modules: MM, PS, PM, PPM, SRM, PI, MDM, SCM, GTS and Portal systems.
-Work closely with members of the Global SAP SD Logistics functional support teams, to identify, evaluate, estimate, prioritize, schedule, develop, test and implement system enhancement work requests and projects.
-Working independently to perform complex analysis, design, development, programming, and modification of SAP programs, jobs, variants, etc.
-Providing on-going production support for SAP application jobs, programs, reports, and interfaces.
-Providing programming support on a part-time basis for SAP initiatives and projects.
-Provide day-to-day support for ABAP programs, reports, screens, reports, user exits, etc. in development, test and production environments
-Identify system performance issues that relating to assigned applications and modules and coordinate with the SAP Basis team to resolve performance issues
-Identify key programming design issues and recommended possible solutions
-Apply principles of good programming development and maintenance (e.g. programming structure, based on functional/technical design, version control, prioritization, self-testing and ticket maintenance in remedy tools) in accordance with Global SAP development and testing methodology
Basic/Required
-Bachelor's Degree
-Legally authorized to work in the United States
-3+ years Technical experience working in a SAP environment in multiple SAP Modules.
Preferred:
-A comprehensive knowledge of methodologies and technical aspects of a programming/development technology
-Technical experience working in a SAP environment in multiple SAP Modules.
-Experience with one or more of the following: o SAP modules – SD, MM, PM, PS, or SRM o Experience with the following or similar imaging technologies - IXOS, DMS or OpenTexto Experience with SharePoint or collaboration softwareo SAP ABAP / Web Dynpro / FPMo SPAU / OSS Noteso SAP Script / Smart Forms / Adobe Formso Object Oriented Programmingo Javao Enterprise Portalo SAP technical support implementations
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential to work with internal and external clients, Functional Team members, Technical Team members, Project team members, Power Users, other areas of IT Shared Services and others
-Demonstrate a high level of initiative and results driven effort
-Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks concurrently
-Take ownership and deliver quality results
