Data Modeler Location: Omaha, NE Length: 6 months Start: ASAP Interview: phone *US CITIZEN , GREENCARD, or EAD ONLY.* Work with the Business Analyst and the Senior Tableau Developer, produce a set of data specifications to meet the need of the Tableau pages. Client is looking for a senior DataMart developer to support a variety of business intelligence related needs. The individual will work as part of a cross-functional team and be responsible for understanding reporting and analytical needs, implementing them in appropriate logical models, and work with DBAs to instantiate them in physical models. Candidate Requirements · Analyzing data requirements in detail with key project stakeholders and team members · Developing conceptual, and logical models, and partnering in the definition of physical models · Work with Business Analysts and Content Developers to conduct design reviews and validate the developed models · Identify, formulate and document detailed business rules and codify as appropriate · Participate in development, testing and maintenance of quality guidelines and procedures along with necessary documentation Preferred Qualifications Requirements: · 8+ years in Information Technology with Expertise in Data modeling for Data Warehouse/Data Mart development, Data Analysis, and Data Warehousing (OLAP)/Business Intelligence (BI) applications. · Experience with Oracle 11g/12c · Ability to write mid-complex stored procedures · Experience with Data Modeling, System/Data Analysis, Design and Development for Data warehousing and Mart environments. · Exposure in overall SDLC including requirement gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation. · Practical expertise with Data modeling (Dimensional & Relational) concepts like Star-Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, Slowly Changing Dimensions, etc. · Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, data manipulation. · Understanding of views, Synonyms, Indexes, Joins and Partitioning. · Experience in establishing and maintaining comprehensive data model documentation including detailed descriptions of business entities, attributes, and data relationships. · Developed source to target data mapping documents with naming standards, and technical and business metadata. · Familiarity and experience with working on teams with a global footprint · Strong communication and presentation skills · Integration and data sourcing experience with big data modeling (Hadoop) a plus. · Experience with Cognos and Tableau a plus Kishore Kumar Sr. Recruiter Cybersearch, Ltd kishore.kani...@cybsearch.com Direct: 832 510 8464 Fax: 847-357-0219 YIM: kumarr...@yahoo.in Galk: kumarre...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
