*Position : Lead Hadoop Developer * *Location : Charlotte, NC * *Duration : 6+ Months (Possible Extension) Interview : 1st round phone, followed by online tech screen, then 2nd in person preferred (POSSIBLY skype/webex)* *Job Description* · This position will design, code, repair, enhance, integrate, upgrade, convert, provide level-3 support, and administer application software, and middleware. · Work is performed within guidelines and standards set by management regarding the development life cycle, version control, source code control, documentation, testing, code verification, continuous integration, continuous deployment, automation, compliance policies and team collaboration. · This level of software engineer will be the software concepts, procedures and best practices SME. · In addition, they will work on all stories independently without supervision as well as be able to design complex solutions. · They will be able to take ownership on new initiatives delegated through management. · They will step in for Manager as needed and facilitate the leadership of the team. · Domain knowledge is critical to this role and the intangibles associated with the product needs.
