Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest... *Role: Oracle Retail Consultant* *Location: Columbus, Ohio* *Duration: December 2016 with likely extension* *Interview Method: Initial Phone, Negotiable Following* PROJECT DETAILS: POS Tech Lead Position Responsibilities: · Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions · Involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for reviewing, analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget · Code, debug and test application programs utilizing JAVA and web programming tools that integrate sales capture, device interaction, and web services · Technically lead complex store system projects including estimating requirements, designing systems, and helping develop solutions · Develop and maintain technical documentation · Serve as technical lead or liaison on enterprise level projects · Remains abreast of emerging technologies, and industry best practices and trends Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience. · Typically has 10+ years of IT work experience, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience developing and implementing complex endpoint management solutions. · 3-5 years’ experience in application development utilizing JAVA, Spring, SQL, Log4j, Web Services, and Oracle databases. · Expert experience with Java and/or Oracle application tuning is a plus. · Oracle Retail POS experience desired. · Ability to adapt and handle pressure. · Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations. · Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of complex projects and activities. · Strong problem solving, analysis, design and testing skills.
