*Role: Supplier Quality EngineerLocation: Lebanon, TNClient: WiproJob Description: * The candidate will be the single point of ownership and accountability for assuring repair quality on Enterprise data and voice products. This includes (but not limited to) understanding repair process, reviewing the key repair quality metrics periodically, identifying corrective actions to improve repair quality, driving the corrective actions to closure and reporting key quality metrics to Executives within client organization. This job also includes providing support to resolving key customer complaints as well. *Roles & Responsibilities:* Understand client s product portfolio. Understand the client s key quality metrics, how they are defined and captured. Understand the supplier repair process, its nuances, how the repair data is captured and reported. Review supplier Repair data periodically and ensure its accuracy, consistency and completeness. Review supplier key quality metrics periodically, identify trends/patterns, define actions to be taken to meet the quality target and drive the actions to closure. Extract Key Quality metrics (PDOA & MDOA) and report it to Executives in Client organization periodically. Identify process improvement initiatives in the repair process and drive them collaboratively with the supplier. Act as single point of contact to client for the supplier quality and repair process. Participate in Client s Executive meetings, present the key quality metrics, discuss the root cause & corrective actions and provide the necessary support. Provide expert guidance to improve supplier repair quality (ex. improving repair yield, reducing repair scrap cost, etc.) *Qualifications, Experience & Skill Set:* Bachelor s Degree in Electronics Engineering. 5+ years of hands on experience as a Quality Engineer managing supplier quality. Knowledge of Enterprise product portfolio, Product repairs and RMA process. In-depth knowledge of Quality processes and Defect Analysis. Good understanding of Product Repair Quality. Expertise in RCCA and (8-D) problem solving process. Ability to blend well and work with Cross functional teams (Planning, Inventory, Logistics, Repair, Operations, Product Mgmt, R& D, etc.). Excellent communication (Oral & Written) and presentation skills. Single Point of Contact (SPOC), Self-Driven & Independent Execution.
