Please find the position below and let me know your availability with the updated copy of resume. *SharePoint/Business Intelligence Consultant * *Jackson, MS* *1 Year Contract* *SCOPE OF WORK* 1.1 SharePoint 2013 Support and Integration 1.1.1 Support MDOT's 1TB multi-server SharePoint 2013 environment, including general helpdesk tickets and integration with other systems 1.1.2 Assist on SharePoint-related projects such as collaboration sites, scanning efforts, Business Intelligence sites, forms, workflows, and other specialty sites 1.1.3 Document and provide knowledge transfer to MDOT staff on many of the support functions related to SharePoint 1.1.4 Create and configure new web applications and site collections as needed 1.1.5 Configure mail, security, and service application settings in Central Administration 1.1.6 Implement SharePoint 2013 governance policy as directed by MDOT 1.1.7 Review and monitor adherence to SharePoint 2013 governance policy 1.1.8 Review and monitor SharePoint 2013 and ISA security 1.1.9 Monitor SharePoint 2013 farm health and performance, and troubleshoot issues as needed 1.1.10 Monitor SQL Server health and performance, and troubleshoot issues as needed 1.1.11 Maintain SharePoint 2013 development environment 1.1.12 Provide guidance in developing, testing, and deploying custom SharePoint 2013 solutions such as web parts, workflows, branding, and templates 1.1.13 Provide guidance in optimizing enterprise search indexing and relevancy 1.1.14 Assist in creating SharePoint 2013 Search scopes and refiners 1.1.15 Provide guidance in deploying third-party products that integrate with or use SharePoint 2013 1.1.16 Test and deploy third-party features as needed 1.1.17 Document SharePoint 2013-related policies and best practices 1.1.18 Review and monitor SharePoint 2013 backup and disaster recovery strategy 1.1.19 Assist in backup restore and recovery in the event of hardware or other system failure 1.1.20 Manipulate web applications, site collections, sites, lists, libraries, etc., using PowerShell 2.0 and/or PowerShell 4.0 as needed 1.2 Custom Web Application Development 1.2.1 Develop and maintain Traffic Engineering Action Reports, an ASP.NET/Angular/HTML5 application for managing and GIS mapping of requests for Traffic Engineering tasks from desktop and mobile devices 1.2.2 Assist MDOT staff with AngularJS, used to show MDOT video content 1.2.3 Assist MDOT staff with ASP.NET/DevExpress/JavaScript and web-based mapping efforts 1.2.4 Work with Traffic Engineering Division to add features as needed, specifically freehand drawing, dashboard visualizations, and more advanced offline capability 1.2.5 Apply Action Reports to other divisions 1.2.6 Evaluate migration strategies to allow MDOT to quickly create web-based mobile-friendly forms and workflow solutions 1.2.7 Work with Network Operations to stand up ADFS/OAuth infrastructure for more modern shared web authentication capability Work with Network Operations to evaluate containerization and ASP.NET-on-Linux for reduced infrastructure and license costs *QUALIFICATIONS OF SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUAL(S)* 1.1 The individual(s) proposed must be a current Microsoft Certified Partner or a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
