*Send resumes to* *abhishek.globali...@gmail.com <abhishek.globali...@gmail.com>* *Project Lead –Business Intelligence (SQL Server SSAS SSIS)* *Interviews F2F!!* *Healthcare Payor side Data experience is needed* *Location: Glenn Burnie MD* *Duration: 6 months* *Responsibilities* · Leads a team of technical resources (Business Intelligence developers, data analysts, ETL developers) along with consultants for the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, administration, and post-production support for various BI application including, BI semantic models, dashboards, scorecards, reports, ETL development, and other data management capabilities. · Works on multiple projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert. Performs development work on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. · Works closely with the BI solution architect and the EDW team to ensure that the end to end designs meet the business and data requirements. Creates BI semantics models on top of the EDW data to shield the complexity of underlying structure from the developers and enable consistency and accuracy of the results produced. · Develops data aggregation strategies that deliver optimized, high user query performance. · Works with representatives of the business units, data stewards, and business analysts to identify and understand their information needs, key performance indicators, and data analysis requirements; documents and publishes data and functional requirements to ensure scope and boundaries are captured correctly. · Ensures adherence to enterprise architecture standards; determine feasibility, technical viability, impediments, milestones to help project managers develop project plans to meet the needs of the business. · Oversees and evaluates the quality and maintainability of the information delivered by the BI/EDW team members. Assumes the leadership role for promotion into the production environment. · Works closely with infrastructure and other members of the BI/EDW teams to communicate data and technology requirements as required for effective system/data integration and uninterrupted operational processes. · Coaches and mentors junior technical staff · Keeps the customers informed of the status of their requests and issues identified. · Interacts with software and service vendors as needed to resolve problems. · Performs other tasks as assigned. *Education:* Work requires a professional level of knowledge in Information Analysis and Delivery and managed care operations as acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare or Business Management. A Master’s degree is preferred. *Work Experience and Skills:* · 7 years of hands-on experience architecting and developing business intelligence applications against multi-terabytes data warehouse using Microsoft SSAS (Multi-Dimensional, Tabular instances), SSRS, SSIS, PowerPivot, Power View, Power Maps, and their integration into Office 365, and SharePoint · 5 years of experience architecting multi-terabytes data warehouse utilizing Kimball methodology · 5 years of work experience leading a technical teams of data scientists, business intelligence developers, ETL developers architects, data mining specialists and data modelers, · Strong skills conducting functional and technical requirement gathering sessions for BI Projects with business and technology stakeholders and management · Hands-on work experience with MS SQL Server 2012/2014, Oracle, or DB2 and creating dashboards, reports, and ETL packages · Expert-level of knowledge of using SQL to write complex, highly-optimized queries across large volumes of data · Knowledge of Data Quality and Profiling concepts · Knowledge of Source Safe, Team Foundation Server, ER Studio, MS Project, SharePoint · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with peers, IT management and key business stakeholders alike · Experience with Health Plan data is required Abhishek KEVIN GLOBAL 2148847985, 2148847734 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
