*Title: Sr. Windows Analyst*

*•             Windows Server 2k8, 2k12, and preferably 2k16*

*•             VMware/SAN*

*•             Azure*

*•             Build Automation/Orchestration*

*•             Engineer in an ENTERPRISE environment.  No admins or Diva’s.*




*PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*

*•             PKI Systems Management*

*•             Maintain existing PKI systems – patch existing systems and
deploy new components based on need.*

*•             Perform project management activities in support of the
program.*

*•             Perform periodic maintenance on PKI systems as required.*

*•             Work with engineering team to support PKI deployment
initiatives.*

*•             Problem analysis following any service issues to prevent
recurrence.*

*•             Perform product testing and integration testing as needed*

*•             Identify security risks to our systems and suggest
mitigations*



*PKI Systems Administration*

*•             Developing and promoting standard operations documentation
such as procedures, checklists, and instructions*

*•             Ensuring systems adherence and compliance with CarMax
security standards and practices*

*•             Extensive understanding of system capacity planning*

*•             Provide 2nd and 3rd level administrative support*



*Server Solutions Development & Projects*

*•             Analyzing designing and implementing new technologies for
applications within the CarMax environment*

*•             Providing accurate and relevant budgeting documentation such
as quotes, purchase orders, analysis,proposals, etc.*

*•             Developing and implementing operating system enhancements
that improve server reliability and performance, Adhering the CarMax IT
Project Methodology*

*•             Leading or participating in projects that involve several
different IT departments*

*•             Performing root cause analysis and repair of technical
issues and trends to include assisting team members as needed*

*•             Develop and communicate technical standards*

*•             Analysis and Trending*

*•             Ensuring long-term requirements of systems operations and
administration are included in the overall information systems planning of
the organization*

*•             Team Development (Mentoring & Assisting)*

*•             Educating, training, and providing support to other team
members on newly adopted technologies and processes*

*Additional Responsibilities*

*•             Participates in a 24×7 on-call rotation as scheduled and
must perform after hours support*

*•             Assist in developing budgets for long and short term
requirements*

*•             Participates in customer/project meeting(s) and assists in
design review. *

*•             Evaluates the needs and requirements of the users and
provides technical expertise*

*•             3rd party vendor management*

*•             Other duties as assigned by manager*

*•Effectively leads a large efforts, coordinates the task management of
deliverables across IT teams and summarizes Post-Mortem communications to
the business and executive sponsors*

*•Responsible for mentoring others in best practices, procedures and
concepts*

*•Steers the relevant support tasks of other associates*

technical perspectives*

*EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:*

*Years of experience required*

*6 + years of Windows server engineering and support*

*Computer skills required*

*Windows 2008 – 2012 server, Microsoft PKI and related technologies (AD,
LDAP, HSMs, OCSP) and security practices.*

*Education preference*

*BA/BS Degree in IT related course of study*

*Certifications desired*

*Certified Systems Engineer or similar*
