*Note : Must Be Local To DC Or Nearby Only…!!!!!!!* *Jobtitle : SAP ABAP* *Location : Washington, DC* *Duration : 6+ Months Contract* One highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to play the lead hands-on role in assisting the Bank team with the integration of SAP which is the Bank’s enterprise system into the Operations Portal. Responsibilities will include using expertise in SAP ABAP in the areas of Business Application Programming Interfaces, Remote Function Calls, Data Dictionary, Module Pool Programming, Workflow, XML interfaces and other tools to implement the logical and technical design as well as writing and debugging code for the portal implementation. *Specific technical skills required include:* 1. SAP ABAP with BAPI/RFC, OOPS, XML parsing (7+ years’ experience). 2. Extensive experience working with SAP development tools and frameworks including the workbench, data dictionary and module pool programming. 3. Extensive experience integrating SAP with external systems, especially portal servers such as WebSphere Portal Server. 4. Extensive experience with extending standard SAP solutions using Business Add-In and User Exits. 5. Extensive experience with Reporting using ABAP Queries and ALV. 6. In-depth work experience in software development, and object-oriented design & programming. 7. Performs advanced troubleshooting across all application components, debug, fix code, deploy and test the fixes. 8. Applies solid technical abilities, analytical, problem solving skills and application knowledge in resolving the production issues. 9. Resolve challenging problems in collaboration with others. 10. Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex application problems, and leverages tools and resources appropriately to identify solutions. 11. Must have excellent analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills. 12. Significant experience with the full software development lifecycle so as to be able to identify dependencies and risks. 13. Broad understanding and knowledge of current IT domains, usage patterns, and trends. 14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with geographically distributed technical and business staff.
