The successful candidate will be responsible for design and implementation
of a large, highly scalable cloud-based enterprise system in the medical
devices space. Prior medical devices software development experience is a
must. Familiarity with FDA regulated software development process is also
required.

Capture/Define functional specification detail during Agile sprint
iterations
Design, implement, document, and test software based upon requirements
Prepare materials for and participate in design and code reviews
Create and execute unit test
Create and execute integration test
Ensure compliance with the development process

*Attributes of ideal candidate*
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
5+ years experience with scalable systems design and implementation
Solid understanding of Object Oriented design and programming principles
Ability to grasp the architecture of a large enterprise system
Ability to help fine-tune, write documentation
Ability to provide clear and accurate estimates of work, and deliver on time
Ability to meaningfully participate in design and code reviews
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Strong documentations skills and a good cultural fit will be important
Privacy/security or encryption
Experience with some of the following: JBOSS, JMS, JMX, configuration,
clustering and performance tuning, database design and development using
Oracle 10g/11g, NoSQL using Apache Cassandra ver 1.0 and above, CLI,
CQL2/3, Amazon AWS development, Hadoop and other BigData technologies
Knowledge of some of the following:  Java, J2EE, DB, AJAX, REST calls and
web services, XML, XML Schema, XPath, XSLT, MVC applications in JAVA or
Spring MVC, object-oriented JavaScript (Angular, jQuery, backbone.js),
HTML5, CSS3
