*Job Title : Build / Release EngineerLocation : Orlando, FLDuration : 8+Months ContractBuild and Configuration Management:* Responsible for monitoring the source control tool activities for multiple application development projects and release streams. Includes performing application builds and deployments for all non-production environments (DEV, QA & UAT). Proven experience working with TFS (Team Foundation Server). Ability to retrieve and run code utilizing BuildBox. Including coordination with developer and or vendor to review build output files and assist with trouble-shooting errors. Proven experience with source control management including the creation and oversight of parallel development activities through multiple branches. Proven experience supporting the promotion of application changes through numerous environments from development to production. Ability to manage daily tasks required to build and deploy multiple complex applications. Ability to develop and execute both database and Linux Scripting. Proven ability to review, analyze and act on system log entries from various OS and application environments. Proven experience configuring and using Web and SQL servers (both infrastructure and underlying OS). Underlying knowledge of Apache Tomcat and Apache Web Services along with the use of Java Runtime. Overall build and release process expertise including the ability to analyze and recommend workflow improvements. Proven ability to manage SSL Certificates across complex networks to ensure protection and prevent unanticipated expirations. Responsible for documentation of existing application builds and the standardization of the build across multiple environments Proven experience with and knowledge of networking technologies such as VLAN s, Load Balancing, server side routing, firewalls and associated troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills to clearly communicate application infrastructure requirements to server and network teams. Ability to decipher infrastructure currency and update requests and communicate to multiple disciplines within the organization. Ability to interact well with other internal and external teams. Experience working with an automation tool for continuous integration.
