| Duties & Responsibilites : | • The Service Asset and Configuration architect will be responsible for the completion of design elements for BMC Remedy ITSM tool customizations and associated process and procedure instructions.
• The individual will be responsible for working with Remedy tool administrators to ensure that they understand the design provided and that the customizations developed are appropriately tested.
• The architect will also be responsible for the development of user acceptance scripts and s
ubsequent management of the user acceptance activity to ensure sign-off.
• Once the tool customizations have been implemented into the Production environment this
individual is also responsible for ensuring that any post implementation issues are handled appropriately.
Specific duties include:
• Creation of design components and tool mock-ups for the customization of BMC ITSM Remedy
• Confirmation that design components meet requirements set by our client
• Explaining design to Remedy tool administrators
• Creating User Acceptance test scripts to obtain approval of implementation of tool customizations
• Creating training material associated with tool customizations
• Providing post implementation support for tool customizations
Experience:
• Experience implementing processes for Asset Management – must have been involved in the implementation of processes for at least two projects
• Experience in creating mock-ups for installation of ITSM BMC tool customizations
• Experience in defining data models within ITSM Atrium
• Excellent knowledge of BMC Atrium CMDB
• Previous experience with BMC ITSM Service Desk and Change Management
Skills and Certifications:
• Minimum ITIL Foundations certified
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven experience in solution design and delivery
• Ability to multi task, understand client requirements, and design Asset Management related requests
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• B.Sc. is an advantage
