We have an Urgent opening .Please see the Job Description Below and let me know if you have any consultant available. *SQL Admin/DBA * *Location: **PALO ALTO, CA* *Duration: 6 months+* *Need visa copy and photo id for submission* *Role name Database Administrator* *Role Description * *Able to deliver database administration with in given SLAs* *Competencies SQL Server Database Administration Experience (Years) 4-6* *Essential Skills * *Strong DBA knowledge* *Self driven* *Able to work in given SLAs * *Desirable Skills Good Communication is must* *Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills * · Understanding of database design principles, logical and physical data modeling and normalization methodologies. · Expert in SQL scripting, construction of highly complex queries and refactoring techniques. · Strong working knowledge and design of SQL objects such as tables, keys, data types, stored procedures, views, user defined inline and multi-statement functions, database and table triggers. · Experience with resolving deadlocks and excessive blocking, and monitoring event severity levels. · Familiar with Database Source Control tools like Visual Studio Database Projects, SVN, Ankh, and Git. · Experiences with networking fundamentals and middleware technologies. · Familiar with Data Warehousing and Data Mart best practices, and OLTP/OLAP databases. · Database migration and upgrade expert (in-place and side-by-side).
