Hope you are doing great. *Please find below the job description and revert back with the updated resume for further discussion on mail id:ran...@aitrg.com <ran...@aitrg.com> or call me on 630-701-6011.* *Position: SAP SCM Tester* *Location: Redmond, WA* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Client: HCL America* *Detailed JD:* *Job description:-* *Primary Responsibilities:* · Write and review Test cases · Define or improve test processes and test methodologies · Execute, debug test cases and log bugs in VSTF · Key contributor in feature team and cross teams for design review and feature testing · Understand SDLC and test milestones, release criteria and test deliverables · Understand test artifacts, taxonomy, defect management process · Test tools installation and usage: VSTF and MTM, SQL management studio, Azure · Participates in master test plan review, triage meetings on needed basis · Contribute to test wiki SharePoint, · Understand internal tools and resources – time management, toolbox etc., · Understand scenario focused engineering process and testing approach · Understand testing fundamentals and types of testing · Understands how to write commitments/set up *goals* and how to manage them · Installs and gets familiar with common *tools*: VSTF and MTM, SQL management studio, Office suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint · Understands the *Agile/waterfall* *SDLC* and how QA deliverables fit into it · Understands *Requirements* process o Understands scenarios/user stories and has a clear business context for the application o Life of requirement in VSTF o Understands how to work with BRD, FSD, Tech Spec · Participates in creation of *MTP [Master Test Plan]* – understands purpose and elements of MTP · Understands basic QA concepts around performance, security, regression, integration, application compatibility testing, etc. · Understands *estimation* process and how to take advantage of existing templates · Participates in creation of *test cases* for assigned areas, review them with coworkers, incorporates feedback · Participates in execution of test cases, works with *MTM*, knows how to set up MTM, execute test case · *Defect Management* – knows how to log a quality bug in VSTF o Severity/priority o Life of a bug · Participates in *Triage* process and understand how it works · Understands basic *SAP* concepts and is able to navigate thru basic transactions · Understands basic concepts of* SQL* and is able to write medium to high level *SQL queries*. · Understands how to work with *Visio* and *MS Project (where necessary)* · Able to create *power point* presentations, deliver it to the group and articulate/share his/her learnings · Being part of QA community – know a link to team web site and knows how to contribute there · Being part of MS - Importance of networking/new contacts · Planning/Time management – training/books/tips/coaching.
