*Title: Mainframe - Sr. Z/OS Storage Manager* *Location: Washington DC (Data Center: 200 I Street SE) * *Maximum Duration for this Requisition Class: 1 Year* *Rate: $60/hr* Complete Description: Position will perform as a technical project lead responsible for the designing, planning, and implementing of SAN and SILO hardware replacements. The design of the hardware replacements shall result in highly available, secure, efficient, scaleable, integrated, manageable, and cost-effective storage subsystems. Related deliverables include, but are not limited to, polices, and procedures reflecting storage management best practices. This position requires extensive knowledge of IBM z/OS operating system, hardware and storage configurations to achieve datacenter SLAs and ensure optimum performance of storage services. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of IBM, STK and HDS hardware and of IBM and ISV storage management related program products. Candidate must be able to provide technical analysis and direction to data center staff and management.
