If you are interested please send me your updated resume along with your expected hourly rate.* *Microsoft Windows Server Administrator* *750 East Adams Street Syracuse, NY 13210* *2 Years Contract* *Job Description* •Seeking a Microsoft Windows Server Administrator - Experienced Windows server administrator for large healthcare environment. •Install and configure server hardware and software including upgrades and patches for Microsoft products and 3rd party applications. Collaborate with team members and vendors to install and troubleshoot applications. •Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Products is required. •Design and implement high availability systems and business continuity solutions. •Monitor servers, application performance and network problems/alerts using available tools. Prefer experience with HP Blade servers, VMware ESX, Veritas enterprise backup and SAN technologies •Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, scripting tools and server products is required •The preferred candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, demonstrated initiative, a focus on customer service and experience in a healthcare environment *Minimum Qualifications* •Bachelors degree in Computer Science, management information systems, Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience with Microsoft Server, Active Directory and ohter Microsoft products is required.
