Includes setting up cluster environment, Single-sign on and AD authentication. • Expertise in Business Objects XIR2 - Import Wizard, Instance Manager, query Builder, Schedule Manager, Crystal Designer, Business View Manager, Desktop Intelligence, Webintelligence, Central Management Console, Central Configuration Manager • Security Administration XIR2 • Expertise in Upgrade issues / procedures from XIR2 to XI4.0 with products like Lifecycle Management, Promotion Management, Upgrade Management • Expertise in Business Objects XIR4.0 / 4.1 – Report Conversion Tool, Webi Rich client, Crystal Reports Designer, Business View Manager, Upgrade Management, LCMBIAR concepts, Promotion Management, Lifecycle Management • Security Administration in XI4 – Including Access Levels, User-Group Management, Folder security, row and data security, object level security • Promoting Code and Migration between the three environments by using manual or GUI methods – between SYS/UAT/ PROD for both XIR2 and XI4x • Expertise in automation scripts for monitoring and capturing job logs and audit • Knowledge of the Audit Database and its querying • Knowledge of patching the current environments based on latest releases • Knowledge of Server side configurations and files for LIVE PROD changes – both XIR2 & XI4x • High proficiency in Oracle 10g/11g and MS SQL Server 2008 • Basic development experience In the BO products required so that the issues effectively addressed within Service Level Agreements and can be routed to the right team such as App Team, Network, Storage Vmware.
