*Position : Lead Application Packager Location : Buffalo, NY Duration : 7+ Months Phone/skype (f2f is local)* *Keys to this role:* · Implementing and executing of Windows7 application migration projects · Installshield, App-V, AppDNA, Scripting knowledge, SCCM, MDT · Implementation experience leading a project for the rollout of desktop upgrades *Description: * We are looking for a lead on-site Application Packaging Technology Consultant to interface with customer and Off-shore Application Factory to coordinate applications needed for packaging and delivery. *Skills Required:* - Implementing and executing of Windows7 application migration projects - Installshield, App-V, AppDNA, Scripting knowledge, SCCM, MDT - Implementation experience leading a project for the rollout of desktop upgrades - Application discovery and remediation with regards to desktop migrations - Broad understanding of networking, system management, and Windows operating systems - Develop desktop application migration & remediation strategy - Develop desktop application discovery and analysis framework & processes - Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal) to all management levels within customer organization - Ability to listen carefully and extract key issues - Application conflict resolution skills *Resource Tasks:* · Execute Application Migration Workshop and provide required instructions to help client resources complete the Application Intake Forms · Work with Client PM and Application Owners to facilitate the completion of Application Intake Form and validate the information · Validate the Application source and installs functions correctly as described in the Application Intake Form before application transfer to offshore · Liaise with offshore and Client PM and technical and application owners to resolve technical queries · Support testing any application that requires local connectivity · Assist the client technical team in completing UAT of each application deemed ready for delivery by application factory · Follow up with client to ensure the UAT of applications are completed on time and flag any application that will surpass the UAT deadline. · Build the client VM’s in the client model lab and have applications installed for UAT inspection. · Record the UAT signoff · In case of failure, troubleshoot and recommend steps for offshore team to resolve the application issue · Develop metrics analysis and reporting · Provide project status on weekly basis to stakeholders *Regards,* *Kailash Negi **VSG Business Solutions* *221 Cornwell Dr,Bear, DE 19701* *Contact No: 302-261-3207 Ext: 103* *Email: kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com <kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com> Gtalk : usrecruite *[image: View my profile on LinkedIn] <https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=120384244&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile> Note: If you have received this mail in error or prefer not to receive such emails in the future, please reply with "REMOVE" in the subject line and the email id(s) to be removed.
