The role will be a techno-functional for a strategic project. Primary objective will be to play a customer facing role, identify data & system requirements, System interfaces and reporting requirement Required Preferably a Bachelor's Degree or above with strong analytical skills and fast learner. Previous Data Analyst and modelling experience of 4 years and above. Ability to participate in requirement gathering workshops, identify data requirements, create data model, identify system requirement and create system interface mapping Good knowledge of manufacturing industry across the value chain and automotive IT experience is must Experience in product costing/ estimation/ should costing will be a value add Self-motivated, Go getter attitude and should be able to own a business process end to end. Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Working Business Data Analyst, will be responsible for •Providing input for developing solution approaches and design •Participate in requirement gathering workshops, create data mapping document and system interaction diagram. •Work with functional team to identify data and system requirement and create data model and system interaction/ mapping diagram •Work with Project Manager/ Consulting lead in maintain continuous communication across stakeholders •Create As_IS and To_Be Architecture Key Skills/Knowledge: Good understanding of automotive domain. Basic understanding of vehicle development, cost estimation, supply chain, Purchasing, and finance processes in manufacturing industry, preferable automotive. Ability to identify and map system & data requirement for developing a data model. Ability to work with Business and IT to understand and identify system and data requirements, and later record/ document all those requirements in a methodical way. Strong in creating logical and physical data model and shall have very good understanding of EDW. Should be expert in understanding correctness and accuracy of logical data model. Should have good understanding of data analysis, data mapping and system analysis & mapping and identifying system & data requirement Basic understanding of creating screens in html/ MS access/ excel etc will be a value add Should have hands on experience on data modelling tool(s) (Erwin etc) Should understand requirement for defining To-Be Business processes and IT solution at same time. Should be able to envisage and develop the road map for an IT solution and shall be experienced in identifying and documenting the data & system requirement. Client Facing experience as a Business Data Analyst. Action orientated and willing to take ownership Good team player, ccollaborative with fellow internal colleagues and should be able to work in onsite and offshore model. Ability to provide structure and defined and agreed deliverables from client requirements Experience required: Experience in working as a Business Data Analyst in a premier consulting or IT firm. Such experience shall be gained in a client facing role. Experience in technology enabled transformations, data mapping, data modelling tools & techniques. Identifying and documenting system requirements.
