Hope you are doing fine. . !!! *JOB DESCRIPTION* *ROLE : *VMWare ESXi - L3 Admin *LOCATION : *Woonsocket, RI *CLIENT: *TCS - Onsite project *Roles and responsibilities:* · Should have strong understanding of Server Hardware and Firmware · Hands-on on configuring Chassis \ Blades \ Virtual connect · Good understanding for Networking and Storage concepts · Strong knowledge of Virtualization and VMware · Hands-on on vcenter and its setup · Hands-on on building VMware vSphere infrastructure · Strong working knowledge of installing ESX and configuration · Strong working knowledge vSphere technologies HA\ DRS\ VCB\ VUP · Hands-on on configuring distributed switching and storage · Basic Linux administration and scripting · Power shell and automation · Microsoft Windows 2008, R2 and 2012 operating systems in a mixed environment. · Microsoft DNS, DHCP · Experience working with and maintaining VMware vSphere 5, 5.5 and 6.0 · Assist with daily responsibilities that include, but not limited to, management of server images, application and OS installations and images, deploying physical servers and documentation. · Troubleshoot printing issues. · Candidate must have strong experience managing physical and virtual servers. · Strong knowledge in managing server health, server migrations · Expertise in managing a virtualized environment with VMware · In-depth knowledge of VMware ESXi 4.x and VSphere 5.x.
