This role will play a large role in the Rapid-marts (built on Oracle EBS design) & Consolidation of data from 42 source ERP systems in progress. Knowledge of UNIX or Linux commands a must. Knowledge of SAP HANA will be great. Involved in the database administration activities and development of SQL queries for use in Ad Hoc reports, analysis of data quality, and data manipulation within a MS SQL server database. UNIX commands, development, and execution of UNIX shell scripts, database stored procedures, and work with relational database and tables are needed. Familiar with standards concepts, practices, and procedures regarding SQL queries. You like learning and you are excited to solve problems you’ve never faced before. Development and maintenance of metadata dictionary. Ability to troubleshoot data anomalies and optimize queries based on strong understanding of SQL and RDBMS. Understanding of routine maintenance, recovery, and handling fail-over of a database. Knowledge of database theory and database design. Knowledge of Backups and restoration. Database creation/maintenance/security.
