*Job Title:* Cognos Developer *Location:* Chicago, IL *Duration:* 6 Months contract *Interview Mode:* In-Person Interview *Job Description:* *Qualifications* • The candidate should have strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL • 4+ years of experience working with Cognos reporting environment (Report Studio/Analysis Studio/Framework Manager/Transformer/Dynamic) • 5-10 years of experience administering and configuring a Cognos reporting environment • Performance tuning of reports and cubes • Must be capable of handling everything from simple Cognos Framework and/or report development projects through complex upgrades/migrations and installations • Ability to develop/work in a variety of Cognos Studios (Report Studio, Event Studio, Query Studio, etc.) • Experienced in Framework Manager modeling and development. • Experience with Dynamic Query Mode (DQM) and Compatible Query Mode (CQM) • Experienced with building transformer and dynamic cubes. • Experienced with OLAP modelling and automating cube builds. • Experienced with Cognos security implementation. • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
