*Hi Partner,* *Hope you are doing great!*
*Please respond with Resume & Contact details of the consultant to: pra...@cigniti.com <pra...@cigniti.com> ASAP* *Direct Client Requirement* *Position: Sr. Automation Engineer with FIX( Financial Information Exchange ) experience * *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 12+ months contract* · *They require immediate staff augmentation for automation engineers with specific experience in back office trading which includes working knowledge of the Itch and Ouch protocol, high frequency, low latency, fixed protocol playback testing. * · They follow the SDLC model and develop mostly in Agile. · They built their own test tool for their Kdb Database for market data. Kdb is a high-performance, high-volume database designed from the outset to handle tremendous volumes of data. It is fully 64-bit, and has built-in multi-core processing and multi-threading. The same architecture is used for real-time and historical data. The database incorporates its own powerful query language, *q,* so analytics can be run directly on the data. · They are very interested in seeing the back-end technology of our automation framework. · They use Selenium and UFT. · They have a compiler for CI which they use on a per-project basis. · They are building a QE tool with an XML framework. · Their pain points are: o Quality of requirements (this may be another opportunity for us with a reference account) o Lack of competent resources o Test environment stability and availability (being addressed) o Automation of trading systems testing as indicated above · They are VERY interested in seeing a demo of the DevOps CIO dashboard and how we can generate automated scrips from test cases using model based testing.
