*Role: **ETL Release Engineer* *Location: **Weston, MA*
*Duration: 9 Months* *Can do C2C but need GC’s & USC’s* This position in the BI and Data Management team will work closely with the Solution Architects, BI Engineering Team, BI Developers, IT Support and other members of IT to define a release plan for all BI/Data Management projects. This role will be responsible for the successful execution of deployments during the test and release phases of the projects. This role will have to coordinate with multiple technology teams to ensure successful delivery. *Primary job responsibilities include:* 1. Assemble the deployment plans for the environment promotions – manage changes as changes/problems are identified in execution 2. Work across build and support teams to execute deployments, ensure post-validations are documented and then completed 3. Manage list of configuration items (list of impacted code, etc.,) a. What has been modified in current release? b. What is expected to be modified in upcoming release? 4. Identify and organize individuals to address issues whey they occur 5. Plan with support and environment management teams to communicate the changes and ensure understanding of what is upcoming 6. Automate and optimize the software build and deployment process 7. Ensure that the build and deployment processes are following the best practices and are adhered to by the development teams 8. Ensure repeatability of the release management process for the development team 9. Educate the team on the best use of the build and deployment tools 10. Scale pipeline to support more project and developers 11.
