The product is J2EE based and runs in an IBM WebSphere environment. The development team utilizes IBM RAD as their main IDE. In 2013, RR Donnelley will be embarking on a re-design effort for many of the core pages that make up CustomPoint. Design services have already been engaged for this project with planned outputs of completed graphic designs. The role of this HTML programmer is to take the aforementioned completed designs and convert them into a fully functional and working prototype with functioning HTML, JavaScript with CSS. Deliverables will also include Design Standards documentation for the Java developers. These artifacts will then be turned over to the development team as the template and basis for the redesign project and the new web design standards for CustomPoint.
