Resource will gain technical expertise and make recommendations for solutions which may impact the overall outcome of the project/assignment. 5. This level should typically be used for a mid-level, fully proficient resource. *Role Summary:* *Skills Required:* 1. Provides basic systems administration, operational support and problem resolution for UNIX based systems. 2. Coordinates basic UNIX system administration and operational support (e.g., hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, security, storage management, backup/restore and disaster recovery). 3. Assists in testing, operational support, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across either individually or as a member of a support team to maintain system normalcy. 4. Develops, communicates, and monitors the operational standards and procedures for the UNIX based systems. 5. Acts as a technical resource to the IT staff and systems users. *Desired skills:* 1.
