*GC/USC* *Middleware Administrator* *Cincinnati, Ohio**6+ Months * *In Person interview MUST* *Summary:* Primary responsibility of the role would assist in managing all aspects of the appserver environment that support application integration. *Education/Experience/Skills Required*: 8 years’ experience and Level 2 / Level 3 troubleshooting knowledge on Middleware Technologies. Installation, configuration and monitoring of WebLogic, JBOSS Application Servers, Apache http Servers. Monitor Middleware Applications and environments to ensure availability. Determine and document root cause of issues working with various teams / groups in the organization. JAVA performance tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning. Demonstrated knowledge of scripting languages such as Jython, Python, JACL, ANT, etc. Solid working knowledge of operating systems such as AIX, Linux. Monitoring, event management, alerting, root cause analysis TCP/IP networking. WAN, LAN, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP. Business continuity, availability and disaster recovery. Ability to perform root cause analysis and interpret logs, dumps, and traces. Web design and implementation experience is a very strong plus. *Specific Skills/Experience:* WebLogic/WebSphere end-to-end solution including implementation of database configuration, and OS specific configurations. Load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Stress testing of applications (occasionally). Develops utilities to automate repetitive tasks (i.e. backups, refreshes, failover).
