Unix systems engineer (sys admin w/ expertise in networking and DNS) that
would be open to working (some) nights. They need to have hands on
technical experience with a virtualized environment supporting Multiple OS
versions; Solaris, AIX, and Linux (SUSE, RedHat) in an enterprise of at
least 500+ servers. Linux experience would preferably be from environments
running on ESX infrastructure.
VMware management and/or VCS experience is a big plus. Should have a firm
grasp of networking and name services principles.
Viable candidate should have at least 7-10 years of experience overall,
with 5 years of experience working in a (critical) production environments,
communicating across teams, and involving change management and monitoring
tools.
