Local: Direct in-person. * *Looking to fill ASAP and will set up interview times "quickly".* *If no Bachelors degree +2yrs relative experience.* *Role Description: * DBA responsibilities to support a large & complex Greenplum-based Enterprise Data Warehouse. Specifically: o Support the application development team in the design, development and implementation of product enhancements (e.g. logical data modeling, partitioning, distribution and indexing schemes) o Support the analytics and business operations teams in executing data requests and analyses (e.g. creation of temporary tables, performance tuning) o Support the system operations team in managing production interface and ETL data processing o Proactive monitoring of database health and performance o Capacity planning and management o Manage patches, upgrades and configuration changes o Design, develop, test and monitor backup and recovery policies and procedures o Define and maintain standards for database security, following Pivotal guidelines. o Manage user roles and privileges. o Act as Greenplum/PostgreSQL SME for production DBA support. Provide on-call support as needed. - *Citizenship / Clearance Requirements: *Must be US Citizen - *Minimum Required Skills/Experience:* o Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related technical field. o Minimum 2 years of experience administering PostgreSQL and/or Greenplum databases, including knowledge of SQL, PSQL, performance tuning, supporting large, complex Enterprise Data Warehouses o Minimum 2 years of experience with Linux - *Preferred Skills:* Experience with data analytics products and techniques Thanks!
