job description The individual will be expected to partner with key business users, lead complex analysis of business process requirements, propose solutions and to accurately record and translate the needs of the business into language and terminology easily understood by both the IS and business communities. Delivering through internal and external resources and peers Purpose of Role To form great partnered relationships with the market subject matter experts in thoroughly understanding requirements, proposing solutions and executing the next level of trade spend optimisation, integrated planning process and reporting within the system framework in place. This role will work with an application team to translate these requirements into design and ensure the system build reflects their needs and has been built in the most effective manner. The role will deliver across multiple systems in commercial e.g. Anaplan, Qlik analytics, data warehouses, 3rd party sources etc. Top Accountabilities • Understanding and analyzing the project’s business requirements and benefits, bringing business & functional knowledge into discussions. • Transferring the same knowledge to development team. • Raising and leading relevant topics to the design board • Preparing the correct documentation on requirement specifications, testing, user manuals and other specified deliverables. • Work within the GDBS framework. • Leading the internal & external application and testing team to deliver and fully test the requirements. • Being an interface between technology teams, support teams, and business units • Managing any change requests related to the working project to meet the agreed deadlines. • Identifying & managing scope, data dependencies and issues, including escalation process as required. Qualifications, Experience Required Functional Capabilities High commercial aptitude – understanding of the business Experience in a business facing functional analyst role Ability to analyze and document complex business processes. Ability to make effective decisions under pressure. Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
