Responsible for customization and configuration of WC components and solutions. Strong Communication skills required. *Requirement #2:* *Cognos Developer * *Schaumburg, IL * *Long Term contract * *Job Responsibilities: * Architect, design and develop Cognos reports (cubes, dashboards, reports, drill-through, etc) according to user requirements. Design and develop any data transformation processes for reports that require aggregations or any activity requiring background processing. Complete assigned project deliverables within business / audit control requirements. Perform unit, system and integration testing and provide UAT/Production support as needed. Train and support Cognos end users. Adhere to security and control policies throughout design, development and testing. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues and code defects. Understand and execute release management and change management processes for changes to reporting applications. Provide off hours support as required. *Technical Skills Required: * A strong architectural background with Databases and Reporting. 5+ experience with Cognos 8.4/10 such as Framework Manager, Cube Development, Report Studio and Analysis Studio Experience in SAS is a plus. 5+ experience with databases specifically Oracle and writing sql. Strong background with Data Warehouse and Data Marts.
