*Position: Solaris Engineer* *Location: Wauwatosa, WI* *Duration: 4 months + Potential * *Phone/SKYPE interviews (In person if local)* Technical design and documentation of assigned project installations. • Build and configure virtual and physical servers to the approved specifications. • Integrate support to align with the global team. • Provision Solaris physical and virtual (non-global zones, LDOMs and virtual machines) through automated mechanisms. Ability to provision systems with manual mechanisms will also be required on occasion • Work with application teams to understand application requirements and translate into design documentation. • Understand server workload management to know when systems have capacity for additional workload. • Ability to work in a heavily regulated work environment and follow appropriate SOX and FDA rules and regulations.
