*JOB DESCRIPTION: *
The ideal candidate will have partner management capabilities along with
hands-on experience designing, implementing, managing and specifying a vast
array of network hardware and software products/systems. Successful
candidates will have interest in and a breadth of knowledge across various
technology disciplines and will be able to convert complex information into
simple, readable form. Candidates should possess knowledge of LAN/WAN and
wireless network interface related components (e.g. switches, routers,
firewalls, and gateways), knowledge of computing topologies, and knowledge
of transport protocols (IP, VoIP, QoS, SIP etc.), To be successful in the
position, the candidate must be results-driven with a bias towards
practical applications. A planning orientation with integrative and
strategic thinking skills is required.

*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:



   - Provide vision and product/services roadmaps for network wired and
   wireless technologies to integrate into client environments
   - Provide engineering strategy for network wired and wireless devices to
   ensure successful integration with other technologies deployed
   - Engineer and implement technology solutions in support of the client's
   enterprise network strategies and requirements.
   - Lead and participate with projects to design network wired and
   wireless solutions to meet Information Technology and client requirements;
   providing innovative solutions to technical problems. Prepare documents
   required to support technology proposals, including road maps, business
   cases, budgets and project plans.
   - Directly responsible for recommending security policies with respect
   to network technology.
   - Stay abreast of new technologies through internal and external media
   and courses and applying these technologies as needed to solve clients’
   business problems.
   - Ability to work closely with other IT groups or other business units
   to solve various business related issues and challenges.
   - Directly responsible for in-depth analysis and problem solving of
   complex network issues.
   - Expert knowledge and experience with performing RF analysis to
   identify RF sources of interference that affect wireless networking
   performance


*KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE *

10 + years related technology experience.



   - Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies and protocols
   - Strong knowledge of wireless technologies
   - Strong knowledge, experience with Cisco, VMware and NetApp products
   - Experience with developing solutions that include end-to-end strategy
   for delivering end user support
   - Requires considerable experience of creation and presentation of
   technology proposals, including all supporting documentation. Demonstrated
   analytical skills, problem solving skills, project management, business
   contract skills are all required.


The ideal candidate will have recent partner management, and hands-on
experience designing, implementing, managing and specifying a vast array of
network hardware and software products/systems to include:

Systems: Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, A10, NetScaler, Riverbed, VMware,
UNIX, Linux, Microsoft, Avaya
Networking: EAP/PEAP and WPA authentication protocols, Switches, Routers,
Servers, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VoIP, QoS, SIP, VoIP, PPP, MPLS, BGP,
OSPF, SmartBits, NetMRI, NetScout, NetMRI, Op Manager, Air Magnet, 802.11
(Including 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11i and 802.11ac),
Wireless Bridging, Autonomous AP, Spectrum Analysis, RF Frequencies,
Beaconing, CAP, WAP, LWAPP, EoIP

*EDUCATION *

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information
Technology or a closely related field with coursework in technology-related
subjects.

Certifications: Cisco CCNP Wireless, Cisco CCNA, CCNP Routing, CCIE or
Juniper JNCIA, JNCIE desired.
