*Hadoop Architect Charlotte, NC 6+ Months Contract Job Description:* Hadoop Architect responsible for new development on Cloudera Hadoop using Map Reducing programming, HDFS, Oozie, hive, sqoop , java and shell scripts and modifying and maintaining existing applications on Hadoop. Knowledge of Cloudera Hadoop using Map Reducing programming, HDFS, Oozie, Hive, Sqoop , java and shell scripts. Modifying and maintaining existing applications on Hadoop. Ability to learn applications, new technology quickly and work independently on new projects. Associates will work closely with data analysts and quant team to understand the new requirements and deliver. Individual contributor role.
