Oracle JDeveloper is a free integrated development environment that
simplifies the development of Java-based SOA and Java EE applications.
JDeveloper offers complete end-to-end development to Oracle Fusion
Middleware and Oracle Fusion Applications with support for the full
development life cycle.
*Overview *(problem/goals)*:*
Enterprise Systems (ES) is developing applications with Oracle ADF,
developing expertise for future (minor) maintenance of Fusion-based ERP.
ARV is the first Oracle ADF application and was developed with ADF10g
Business Components. The deployed version of the application doesn't meet
minimum required response times. This provides the opportunity for expert
review of the existing application and environment, and for advice to
proceed.
*Work Details*
*Scope of Activity: *[Description of the work desired]
- Review the existing Web Logic environment. Assist with configuration
changes if required.
- Determine migration or recode path of existing ADF application (ARVs).
- Be available for discussions with DBA and Development groups

The Consultant would be on-site for a period of 4 weeks. Deliverables
include:
- Acceptable performance improvement of existing application, or
proof-of-performance in 11g or 12c Replatform
- Best practice development guidelines for ADF 11g/12c:
- Bounded and unbounded workflows
- Application module segregation
- Data validation (considering MVC)
- Creating/packaging deployable archives
- LDAP integration
