*Position: SAN/NAS Engineer* *Location: Jersey City, NJ* *Duration: 8 Months Contract * *Job Description:* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Design and implement NAS storage infrastructure solutions, including integration with third party software and hardware. · Serve as technical liaison with NAS engineering, project managers, system administrators, database and application teams during all phases of new projects, from design through implementation. · Develop and prepare solution designs and operational documentation required to support engineered solutions to production support teams. · Interface with engineering, production support and vendors to identify technical and practical solutions applicable to the business needs. · Provide technical leadership to the NAS Implementation Engineering teams. · Identify and develop innovative process and procedural improvements, tools and capabilities · Python, Perl & Unix Scripting advantageous *Qualifications:* · Strong NetApp Network Attached (NAS) storage skills. · Strong scale out NAS solutions experience; o NetApp Cluster Mode. o EMC ISILON · Strong ATMOS Cloud Storage Solution experience · Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills. · Minimum 10-12 years of experience with large scale NAS footprint. · Hands on experience with VMWare Server Virtualization. · Client and team relationship/interaction skills. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Business continuance and disaster recovery in large global enterprise.
