Scottsdale, AZ !! 6+ months – possible to extend !! * *Please send us resume to : madh...@skolix.com* Position : *System Administrator (Tivoli)* Location: *Scottsdale, AZ* Length : *6+ months – possible to extend* * * *Job Description: * o LDAP – Installation / Administration – IBM Tivoli Directory Server / Sun Directory Server o SSL Certificates – Client / Server certificates / openSSL / Java keytool experience / SSL concepts o Apache / IBM HTTP Server / Microsoft IIS / SunOne Web server – installation / administration o WebSphere Administration – Version 6.1 and above o Advanced UNIX command line interface knowledge and scripting. o Conceptual knowledge and understanding Internet Security / DNS / Load balancing *Position Summary :* Under general supervision, install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade/patch variety of Internet middleware applications and ensures compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Defines procedures for configuring, monitoring and securing internet based applications. Evaluates, diagnoses and establishes work plan to resolve system issues. Performs troubleshooting for complex hardware, software and network problems. Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader. May coach more junior technical staff. *Duties :* Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining internet based applications in support of business processing requirements. Schedules and performs software installations and upgrades to internet based software packages. Requires advanced installation and administration of software packages such as: IBM Tivoli Directory Server, Apache / IBM HTTP server, IBM WebSphere Application server, Weblogic Application server, Tomcat Application Server, SSL certificates for client & server for application / server / end user, openSSL / IKeyman / keytool experience. Strong Unix knowledge of commands and scripting. Experience with Jacl / Jython / Perl / shell scripting. Experience with TCPIP, DNS, Load balancing, firewall, DMZ concepts. Some experience with Microsoft IIS Web Server. Maintains software and applications in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Monitors and tunes the applications to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Develops, documents, promotes, and follows standard operation procedures. Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation. *Experience :* Minimum of 6+ years of IT work experience with internet based applications on Unix systems. Ability to work on multiple projects as a team member, occasionally as a project leader. Ability to perform troubleshooting for complex hardware, software and network problems. Ability to interact with internal and external customers at all technical levels. Ability to provide clear and concise written or verbal communication regarding requests for information and problems resolutions related to internet based products.
