C/C++ developer who has knowledge in programming and debugging distributed
C / C++ applications on Red Hat Linux. The candidate should be comfortable
navigating Linux machines and troubleshooting potential issues in a
production environment. The candidate’s responsibilities will be to learn
the existing applications and help decommission them by year’s end. The
candidate will be responsible for second tier support if needed by the
production management team.
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years of C/C++ development experience
• Experience on programming on Red Hat Linux
• Knowledge of distributed C/C++ systems
• Knowledge of C/C++ network programming
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles
• Software documentation skills
• Knowledge of software debugging tools and skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Will need to support application during outages
Education:
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar experience
in applications development
