*Role: OBIEE Developer*
*Location: Rockville, MD*

*Summary of the Position:*
This is a hands-on position in the Business Intelligence application
development team in the Information Technology department. The Business
Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the development and
deployment of OBIEE repositories and Oracle BI analytic applications that
will serve the entire spectrum of development and support activities from
application design and deployment to day-to-day support of the enterprise
applications and users.
*Roles and Responsibilities:*
- Translates and converts user requirements into OBIEE designs and
packages for development.
- Develops re-usable OBIEE frameworks and components such as logical
layers and metadata mappings for Business Intelligence Applications.
- Develops BI deliverables such as OBIEE RPDs, data integration
processes, and multidimensional databases.
- Works closely with the test teams to complete BI development
activities and resolve defects; develops and unit tests OBIEE repositories
and multidimensional databases and, monitors and remediates system
integration and business user testing software issues.
- Leads BI application change control management by performing Impact
Analysis to drive changes.
- Provides technical support to the user community by providing
application administration of rolled-out BI application components
- Leads development and performance improvements of complex queries.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
*Education*:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
*Experience:*
- At least 7 years of experience in data analysis, and Business
Intelligence.
- At least 4 years of experience in OBIEE development from both
technical and functional perspective.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end deployments of at least two of
the following: OBIEE repositories, Oracle BI applications, or data
warehousing preferably in an Oracle environment.
- Experience in OBIEE Administration and Presentation Tools and OBIEE
Delivers.
- Enterprise business intelligence experience in financials, supply
chain, order management, or sales/marketing.
- Good understanding of multi-dimensional analysis, Oracle BI
Applications (Financials or supply chain/Order management), MDX, DAC and
Informatica.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to provide creative
solutions.
- Must possess ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
