This is *satyagiri *working as recruiter with *United Software Group, Inc.* We have a very urgent requirement for one of our direct client, please go through the below requirement and send me the updated resume. *Job Title : Product Controls Engineer * *Location : Marshall, MI* *Duration : 12 Months* *Job Description:* · Responsible for the development of electrical components ( *Electrical* *hardware*) and controls (*Software*) in the support of *Thermal System* *products*: including electrical actuator design, associated drivers/controllers and algorithms to support devices. · Responsible for the implementation and software calibration for new product controls embedded in the product, developmental electronics in lab testers and/or customer systems (*vehicles*). · The candidate should have good working knowledge of *controllers and control logic, Coils and magnetic design, programming languages*, *vehicle* *calibration*, and system modeling. · Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (*such as CAN*). · Assist/coordinate product testing process with *Product, Test and Application engineers* in order to provide new testing systems and support customer testing requirements. · Assist in system understanding and simulation to optimize product performance. · Plans, schedules and coordinates engineering reviews and documents in adherence to our 5 level development process. · A working understanding of *vehicle thermal management* is preferred. The calibration of key thermal components including fan clutch, solenoid control valves, stand-alone controllers, and coolant pumps is beneficial. Single component calibration and control is required, but bringing control systems for several components together in an effort to optimize the vehicle thermal system is a long-term objective. *Skills:* · Minimum of 4 years product and/or electrical engineering experience in vehicle engine systems *calibration*.
